Jordan Brand has been pushing the Air Jordan 2 hard over the past few months – and it has been paying off. Thanks to some retro releases, high-profile collaborations, and exciting new colorways, the ‘80s basketball model has become more popular than it arguably ever has been.

The Air Jordan 2 push is expected to continue well into 2023, as evidenced by the upcoming “Cool Grey” Air Jordan 2 Retro. The women’s-exclusive sneaker, which is set to drop in early May, boasts a clean, sleek look with its monochromatic grey colorway.

The Air Jordan 2 Retro "Cool Grey" is constructed with a mix of suede and nubuck, which gives the release a high-fashion feel. The upper comes in “Cool Grey” and features lighter grey panels on the quarters. The tonal base is accented with chilly “Ice Blue” accents on the laces, piping, and TPU heel panels. The sneaker is branded simply with Wings logos on the tongues and “Nike” embroidered on the heels.

The upper sits atop foam midsole units done in white, which add levity to the dark grey makeup. Rubber outsoles are given a “Cool Grey” and “Ice Blue” color scheme, rounding out the design.

The Air Jordan 2 Retro “Cool Grey” will be available on DTLR.com and DTLR stores on May 4th in women’s sizing.
