The Nike Doernbecher Freestyle Collection Reaches 20-Year Milestone

This year’s Nike Doernbecher Freestyle Collection marks 20 years of raising funds and empowering young patients at OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital through design. Since 2004, this ongoing creative program has raised $37 million and given 122 children the chance to create inspiring footwear that tells their unique stories.

Available later this month, the latest collection features six new designs and a special Air Jordan 20 to commemorate the milestone. Each sneaker is a reflection of the designer’s courage, personality, and creativity.

This year’s collection includes an Air Jordan 6 Retro designed by Jillian Beagley, a Nike Sabrina 2 designed by Sophia Jenkins, a Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 41 designed by Tima Sviridenko, a Nike Air Max Dn designed by Connor Kassing Fernández, a Nike Air Max SNDR designed by Quin Nims, and a Nike Air 180 designed by Ja’Kai Taylor. Each sneaker tells a personal story through the use of bright colors, unique graphics, and personalized touches.

There’s also a commemorative Nike Tech Fleece hoodie and a limited-edition Air Jordan 20, honoring 20 years of creativity and the program’s positive impact.

Need a pair (or six)? The Nike Doernbecher Freestyle 20 Collection will be available on Saturday, January 25th, in-store at select DTLR locations.
