This new Kyrie 5 silhouette is nod to the best floor (friend) general on the court.
We've never seen a more friendlier-- and well tatted-- basketball player than Kyrie Irving. Among some of those tats is the large "Friends" iconic logo tatted across his arm. To recognize his infatuation with the show, a special "Friends" version of the Nike Kyrie 5 has been created.
Kyrie Irving’s eclectic catalog of ink includes the ever-familiar logo of Friends, the generation-defining tv sitcom that surrounded plenty of laughs around a group of pals and one of the most culturally iconic duos in history. Kyrie joins the rest of the world with his personal quirk for the ever so popular show and it makes sense. The Boston guard's true spirit and relationships with his teammates is testament to his loyalty and camaraderie.
The Kyrie 5 “Friends” takes on a simple approach to the show’s logo colors, while the official logo (which is also the aforementioned tattoo) is displayed on a tab right off the heel.
