Set To Drop: Air Jordan Retro 6 'Hare'

After wearing an all-black pair of Air Jordan 11 with clear soles, Michael Jordan sent sneaker collectors into a tailspin with the 1996 release of the movie Space Jam. Since the Retro 6 are arguably the most popular edition of the Jordan sneaker franchise, everyone wanted to know how and when they could get their hands on a pair. However, the “Space Jams” weren’t the only rare air seen in the movie. Bugs Bunny also sported heat on the court with the Hare Jordan 7’s. Now, with Space Jam 2 in the works, Nike is set to release the Hare Jordan 6 Retro with plenty of nods to the original Hare Jordan 7 colorway.
The Hare Jordan 6 features White leather overlays with perforated Bugs Bunny Neutral Grey leather underlays. Much like the other Hare Jordan’s, the tongue and accents across the heel and outsole are in True Red, which add a nice pop of color. The iconic multi-colored pattern on the tongue are what really take the Hare Jordan 6’s to the next level. The pattern is also featured on the tongue’s underside and sock liner. The carrot-inspired lace locks are the icing on the cake that complete the “Hare” look on this beautiful pair of Retro 6’s.
