This heritage style Air Jordan has evolved from some many iterations of the Air Jordan Retro 1. Designer Peter Moore debuted the Retro 1 in 1985, becoming the genesis of basketball and American fashion. A legendary palette is extended in this edition's leather upper and tongue branding. Archival elements play on the Wings logo and retro Swooshes resurface for the more authentic appeal of this legendary sneaker.
Powered by encapsulated Air, a dual tone-rubber capsule is installed underfoot. This Air Jordan 1 features white on tongues, sides and toe box--while Black overlays midsole. Red trimming throughout the entire shoe paired with matching red laces and rubber outsole. Finishing off the design are "Nike Air" tongues and "Who Said Man Was Not Meant To Fly" is printed on the insoles.
