A Closer Look At The Nike Dunk Low “UNLV”
Published:March 22, 2021
As Air Force Ones and Retro Air Jordan 1’s have kept the classic style relevant, the emergence of Nike Dunks has been making waves on the scene. Slated to make an early appearance on the Nike Sportswear 2021 lineup, the “UNLV” is ready to bring back a college fan favorite. This scholastic iteration was modeled after the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Dating back to 1985, the original release was one silhouette out of the “Be There To Your School” series, that is now segmented into a solo offering this go around. In the original series release, the silhouette was a hi-top model, which now is getting cut down to a Dunk low level. As the upper has a Grey base, University Red leather overlays perfectly atop. Directly underneath is the White midsole and Red outsole combination, color blocking well on the Air constructed rubber. Tongue logo fits its memorable capitalized font, while the Grey ‘NIKE’ heels ensure brand recognition is in full effect. Whether you enjoy a football game or a comfortable sneaker on your feet, this is a must cop to start the year off right.
