The latest Air Jordan 1 Retro to hit the shelves pays homage to Michael’s memorable career not only as a Chicago Bull but also as a North Carolina Tarheel. Jordan spent three seasons at UNC under coach Dean Smith and brought home an NCAA National Championship trophy as a freshman. Scooped up by the Bulls as the number three overall draft pick in 1984, Michael’s career and legacy were just beginning. He would go on to win six National Titles with the Bulls along with six NBA Finals Most Valuable Player Awards.
On this pair, the black leather uppers are accented by powder blue heels and swooshes along with a gym red toe box. White outsoles create a nice contrast atop red outsoles. Logo wise, you’ll get both the historical “Wings” logo on the sides along with the Nike “Air” logo on the tongue.
